Key PlayerAlan White. The Magpies leaked lots of goals last season and new manager Steve Thompson will look to White to help County shore up at the back. White has been appointed club captain - underlining his importance to a new look Notts County side.
StrengthsOn paper, Notts County have brought in some useful players. Jason Lee, Lawrie Dudfield and Tcham N'Toya have goals in them at this level. Although he had a mixed time at Blundell Park, Andy Parkinson is back at Meadow Lane where he enjoyed a successful loan spell in 2003/04. If he hits form, he will cause problems for League Two defences.
WeaknessesWith a massive 14 new signings over the summer, can they all gel quickly enough? Furthermore, Magpies fans will hope that their new manager, Steve Thompson, fares better at Meadow Lane than he did in his last post where he oversaw Cambridge's relegation from the football league.
Prediction19th. A more stable season for the Magpies, but with so many changes over the summer, any more than a bottom half finish will be an achievement.

Next Team: Peterborough
